Camp Rim Rock, for girls, is a traditional summer camp, looking for dynamic young women who can teach children, women who are a great example for today’s youth.

Where is Camp Rim Rock?
On 600 Acres in Yellow Spring, West Virginia, USA.
About 2 hours from Washington DC.

Positions available for our season that runs June through August:

General Counselor – oversees her designated group of girls, maintaining the daily routine.

Activity Counselor – provides lessons and instructs all age groups in one or more of our activities:
Horseback Riding • Performing Arts • Aquatics • Sports • Fine Arts and Crafts

There is an important overlapping of duties and responsiblities in the Camp Rim Rock Staff. This overlapping cements the supportive and team open work environment.

“I love that I get to spend my summers at Camp Rim Rock. Rim Rock has helped shape me into the person I have become today. I have seen so much personal growth in my past four summers at Rim Rock and I know this coming summer I will see even more. Rim Rock is truly a place where you can be yourself and you don’t have to worry about pressures from the outside world. One thing I love about working at Rim Rock is that I get to be a kid again. There aren’t many jobs where you get to be outside all day having fun and enjoying yourself. "As I approach my 5th summer here at Camp Rim Rock I can’t help but reflect on the past 4 summers. Each summer essentially begins the same yet each summer ends in a way completely different than the last, learning something new every time September rolls around. It has been here at Camp Rim Rock that I have developed professionally and grown personally in ways that no other job would have allowed. I began as a drama counselor and through my time here I have developed professionally to the role of Program Director! Personally I began my career here on the shyer side, willing to do whatever was asked of me but reluctant to take the lead in anything. Through the wonderful support of all the staff here and the encouragement of the campers I now speak up when I have an idea regardless of how silly it may seem! I cannot imagine a summer without Camp Rim Rock and besides where else can you wear your hair in a pony tail, no make-up, gym shorts, a tee shirt everyday, and still manage to make memories that will last forever?"
