About your Daughter

The purpose of Camp Rim Rock is to serve your daughter. It is just that simple. Our goal is for your daughter to have a great time and to develop skills and friendships that will last a lifetime.

She is a very special person, one of a kind, your pride and joy. That you are considering sending her to Camp Rim Rock is testimony to your interest in providing her with a wonderful summer experience.

We dedicate ourselves to never lose sight of our responsibility to your daughter.

At Camp Rim Rock, our focus is for your child. This is an opportunity for a summer filled with excitement, fun and new experiences. Our campers who are now adults frequently say that Camp Rim Rock has been one of the greatest influences in their lives.

We provide over 600 acres for 280 children-space filled with incredible beauty. We provide supervision by an excellent staff of over 100 counselors who are carefully chosen for their dedication to children and their expertise in the instruction of various activities.

Considered one of the finest camps for girls, our reputation has been built on the conviction that your daughter deserves the very best we have to offer.

We hope this website gives you a feeling for Camp Rim Rock. It is difficult to demonstrate the size and scope of Camp Rim Rock in a website. We invite and encourage you to visit us. We will show you camp first hand.

We are eager to greet your daughter as a new addition to the family and place we call Camp Rim Rock. We hope to share some of the most special moments of her young life.

Rim Rock Age Groups and Cabins

We Employ More Than One Counselor For Every Four Campers

Camp Rim Rock has eight units with several cabins in each unit. Each group operates like its own small camp. There are at least two counselors living in every cabin with the girls. The camp divides its campers into groups by their grade and age.

The younger units have between 10 and 20 girls while our older units house approximately 40 campers. We pride ourselves on the high return rate of our campers. We have many girls who have spent more than ten summers at Rim Rock.

The cabins are attractive and well maintained. The screened windows allow for cool summer breezes to flow freely through the cabin.

The girls at Camp Rim Rock represent more than 30 states and a dozen countries. What a wonderful environment to make new and unique friendships that last a lifetime.

Counselor-In-Training Program

Many of our oldest campers return as Counselors-In-Training for their last two years of high school. Girls completing the 10th grade may apply for the first year of this 2 year program.

Counselors-In-Training work with senior staff. This is an opportunity to develop strong leadership skills.

Girls completing this course are ready to assume additional counselor responsibilities.

About our Staff

Our Executive Director, Joe Greitzer, is skilled in working with campers and counselors. He has an undergraduate degree from Emory University and a law degree from Georgetown University. He and his wife Robin have three children.
